The IDS consists of the combination of electronic components, including sensors, control units, transmission lines, and monitoring units integrated to be capable of detecting all types of intrusion into an area protected by the system including the staybehind threat. An IDS includes both interior and exterior systems. The system will be a DOD standardized system or DA-approved commercial system.
